Child Education
Child education activities provided by NGO are various actions and initiatives taken by non-governmental organizations (NGOs) to ensure that every child, especially those from marginalized and underprivileged communities, has access to quality education and learning opportunities. NGOs play a significant role in strengthening the education system, spreading awareness, enrolling and retaining children in school, providing supplementary support, and empowering children to realize their potential.
We ensure that following education must be for every child we support.
Hygine Education
We all need to keep clean to avoid harmful germs and avoid getting sick. Good personal hygiene also boosts confidence by dealing with problems like bad breath or body odour.
For children, the basics of good personal hygiene are:
- washing their hands
- covering their mouth when they cough
- having regular baths or showers
- brushing and flossing their teeth
Girls Menstruation
A period is the part of the menstrual cycle when women, girls and people who menstruate bleed from their vagina. For most people this happens every 28 days or so, but it’s common for periods to start sooner or later than this. It can range from day 24 to day 38 of your cycle. Periods last from around 4 to 8 days.
There isn’t one right age for a girl to get her period. But there are some clues that it will start soon:
- Most of the time, a girl gets her period about 2 years after her breasts start to develop.
- Another sign is vaginal discharge fluid (sort of like mucus) that a girl might see or feel on her underwear. This discharge usually begins about 6 months to a year before a girl gets her first period.
Good Touch / Bad Touch {Girls & Boys}
It is imperative to create opportunities to talk to the children and discuss what a good touch is and what is not. Even though you may think that your child is too young to understand the difference between the good and bad touch and other such topics, but they are not, you can talk about these subjects with ease, so that they learn about them from an early age without getting scared. This blog will help you educate your children about the difference between good and bad touch.
- TALK ABOUT GOOD TOUCH AND BAD TOUCH
- DON’T BE SHY
- TEACH THEM THE OWNERSHIP OF THEIR BODY
- STICK TO THE TERMINOLOGY
- TEACH THEM TO FIGHT BACK
- DON’T FORCE ANY KIND OF TOUCH
- TEACH YOUR CHILD TO TRUST THEIR DECISION
- KEEP THE CONVERSATION GOING
